Meet our kitty of the week

The Humane Society operates a foster network to care for homeless cats and kittens as space allows. Adoptable cats and kittens can be seen at PetSmart in Ithaca and Horseheads, by calling us at 594-2255 to schedule an appointment or looking through our listing of adoptable cats and kittens.   Dogs can be viewed online and you can also see our available dogs on Saturday mornings, between 10 - 1, at the dog shelter.  If that time isn't convenient, please call us to schedule an appointment.

We are funded primarily through donations, gifts, grants and fundraising efforts. We receive no county, state or government funding for our on- going operation. Nor do we receive funds from national animal welfare organizations.  If you are interested in volunteering or making a donation please call us at 594-2255. We’ll put your skills or your donations to good use! We hope you enjoy your visit with us. And, do check back often to see what we’re up to and how you can become a part of it!

Thank you.
