6 and 7 - Rummage Sale to Benefit HSSC

Don and Lynne Mason are holding a huge rummage sale on Friday and Sat 9 am – 5 pm each day.

Location: 1367 Wollock Rd Watkins Glen.  Wollock runs between Tower Hill Rd and Aikens Rd, near Sugar Hill and Farm Sanctuary.  The Masons say they have seen many dogs dumped in this area over the years and this is their way of helping us to help more animals.

They will be serving lemonade and other snacks, taking donations of canned dog food, dog houses and dog treats all to benefit the Humane Society.

Please stop by.  Maybe you'll be inspired to have a rummage sale of your own.

Our 2/14/2010 Pancake Breakfast was amazing.  The Moose Lodge hosted our Valentine's Day breakfast and the turn-out was more than expected.  We served in the neighborhood of 283 people…The Moose members were amazing but they actually ran out of food!!! They had to make a special run for more food to serve the crowd.  Thanks to everyone who attended.  We can't do what we do without the support of our community.

Cans for Cats

You did it!  We had the largest turn out so far.  You really did clean out the garage, packed up all those redeemable cans and bottles and hauledl them down to Wright’s Beverage on Sat. May 16^th !!!

And many thanks to the hard-working volunteers who sorted and stacked until 1:30 p.m. and to the staff at Wright's Beverage for working even harder than us.
