11 - Rabies Clinic - Watkins Glen Highway Dept  from 10 am - 12 noon.

• Animal must be at least 3 months of age
• Cats and ferrets must be in carriers; Dogs must be on leashes
• Please bring prior proof of rabies vaccine
• This is a free clinic, however, donations are always welcomed

12- Annual Pancake Breakfast at the Montour Falls Moose Lodge from 8 - 11 a.m.

Our annual benefit breakfast cooked by the Montour Falls Moose lodge has become a fun and great tasting way to raise funds for our organization.
As we approach the day when we will have a full service shelter in Schuyler County, our fund raising events become more and more important.  We are once again asking for volunteer help to post breakfast posters around town and to volunteer on the day. 

We will need multiple shifts during the morning between 6:30 and 12:00 to:Help setup the dining room in the am before diners arrive

• Make and keep those coffee pots full
• Deliver coffee and juice to breakfast tables
• Kitchen and table runners to make sure the buffet keeps full
• Resetting and clearing tables throughout the day
• Greeters
• Raffle ticket and breakfast ticket sales as people come in the door
• Kitchen help to wash dishes
• Dining room cleanup at the end of the day

If you can help, please contact Diane at dt52@cornell.edu to let us know approximate times and if you have a job you would prefer.  If you are not able to volunteer, please come and bring your Valentine's sweetie to breakfast.  That helps us too.  Download the flyer and post at work.

Holidays Around the Corner was  a lot of fun despite the weather. Special thanks to John Herbert of Wagner Vineyards for the wine tasting, Gary and Jim for the wonderful dulcimer and guitar music, Church Street Produce for the jams and chutneys, The Gristmill Café for the breads and Nancy Taber of Fingerlakes Farmstead Creamery for the cheeses.  Your contributions helped to create a festive holiday environment and to make the day special for holiday shoppers.
