The Humane Society of Schuyler County Receives ASPCA Spay Neuter Grant. Read the Press Release
Most poisonous food for dogs - A must read. You're going to be surprised what is on this list
We have been receiving a huge number of calls to take stray kittens. Unfortunately we do not have unlimited space to house them nor the people to care for them. Please encourage people to take advantage of our low cost spay neuter clinics. Remember Kittens can become pregnant as early as 4 - 5 months old.
Most of our cats and kittens are now in their new home at 124 Marina Drive in Montour Falls, NY. You can come meet them on Saturdays from noon to 2 p.m.We still have some in foster care so please call if you'd like to meet a particular cat/kitten.
Custom Pet Solutions is now offering a FREE Training and Behavior Consultation Session to anyone who adopts a dog from us. Read the flyer for full details

The Humane Society operates a foster network to care for homeless cats and kittens as space allows. Adoptable cats and kittens can be seen at our new Cat Shelter, at PetSmart in Ithaca, by calling us at 594-2255 to schedule an appointment or looking through our listing of adoptable cats and kittens. Dogs can be viewed online and you can also see our available dogs on Mon-Fri mornings between 8 and 10 a.m. or on Saturday mornings, between 10 - 1, at the dog shelter. If that time isn't convenient, please call us to schedule an appointment.
